SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS

belonging to Scheduled Castes & Other Disadvantaged Groups to pursue School Education under the Pre-Matric Scholarships Schemes for SCs & Others

Component-1

• Students belonging to SC category
• Parents/Guardians annual income not exceeding Rs 2.50 Lakh

Component-2

• Students whose parents/guardians are engaged in occupations involving cleaning and prone to health hazards
• No income limit criteria

SCOPE

• Students studying in class 9 and 10 in recognised schools
• Applications are accepted and verified by the State Government/Union Territory
• Coverage of the poorest households

ENTITLEMENT

• Academic allowance ranging from Rs 3500 to Rs 7000 per annum
• 10% extra allowance for Divyang (specially abled) students

Students to apply on their respective State Scholarship Portals

Student should have a valid Mobile Number, Aadhaar Number, Aadhaar-seeded Bank Account, Income Certificate, and Caste Certificate
