PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (PM YASASVI)

The PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (PM YASASVI) aims to provide opportunities for 15000 OBC, EBC, and DNT students to study in top-class schools. The eligibility criteria include students belonging to the OBC, EBC, and DNT categories with parents or guardians having an annual income not exceeding ₹2.50 Lakhs. These students must be studying in Class 9 or 10 and have secured at least 60% marks in Class 8 or 10.

The scholarship offers financial assistance of up to ₹75,000 per year for Class 9 and 10 students, and up to ₹1,25,000 per year for Class 11 and 12 students. Selection is done based on merit, considering the marks obtained in Class 8 and 10, and will be processed through the National Scholarship Portal. The registration and application deadline on the NSP Portal is 31st October 2024.

Scholarships will be directly disbursed to the beneficiaries’ DBT Aadhar-seeded accounts by the Central Government. Any additional expenses such as exam fees or hostel fees will be covered on an actual basis as required by the school.
